Blitz Build is a one-week, high energy, accelerated build of a Habitat home. Churches, community groups and organizations can choose to wholly or partially fund a house for a family in need. Each Blitz Build Sponsor is also given the unique opportunity to interact with and work alongside the family over the course of the week making the volunteer experience more personal. There are a limited number of Blitz Build opportunities each year.
Framing Blitz Build Sponsor: $20,000
A Framing Blitz Sponsor is a partial house build over the course of the week. From raising the walls to installing the windows and doors, a group will complete the frame of the house.
Whole House Blitz Build Sponsor: $40,000
Whole House Sponsorship includes everything from the Framing Blitz, but takes it to the next step. From raising the walls to putting the siding on the exterior, at the end of the week the exterior of the house will be complete and the interior ready for electricity, plumbing and dry wall.
Benefits of being a Blitz Build Sponsor:
- Workcamp fees for each volunteer are waived and the Volunteer Center is reserved only for the sponsor group.
- Sponsor will have their name and logo placed on the house sign.
- Sponsor will receive prior to arrival information about the Partner Family for which they will be building.
- All Sponsorship partners will have their name and logo printed in both the Groundbreaking & House Blessing programs.
