Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity's Weatherization program is designed to increase the energy efficiency of existing homes in the communities that we serve. Helping families to make minor repairs such as upgrading their insulation, caulking and air seal, installing low flow showerheads and faucet aerators monthly utility costs can be reduced as much as 50%. Weatherizing homes not only improves occupant comfort and improves indoor air quality, it enables families to permanently reduce their energy bills resulting in savings which can be used for other basic needs.
