Land for Sale

As Pendleton County continues to grow, securing suitable land for Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity to build on is becoming more challenging. If you are aware of a builing lot or a parcel of land in the area that may be available, we'd like to talk to you!

Would you Like to Donate Land to Almost Heaven Habitat for Humanity?

Our housing ministry is supported by donations. Land is no diffrent. Our fianancial resources to purcahse land are limited, so we rely upon gifts of land to assure the affordability of the houses that we build. Donating land can have many tax bennefits. If you have land that you would like to donate our trained staff can assist you in structuring the gift to accomodate your needs. Your gift will help to create continued opportunities for affordable housing in Pendelton County.

Please call our Development Director John Connor at 304-358-7642 to explore thse options.

Do you have land in Pendelton County that you would like to sell to us?

We are always looking for the opportunity to purchase land for future house construction. The land must be modestly priced and suitable for house construction. We can not purchase land that is in the floodplain and we can not mediate heirship issues. The land must have clear and marketable title and be free of encumberances.

Please call our Project Manager Jessica Moyers at 304-358-7642 to discuss the sale of your land.

Above is a picture of us breaking ground on the Painter's View Subdivision. This 2.7 acre tract of land was 'sold' to us through a Bargin Sale for $5,000. This land is now a subdivision in which 8 familes live.

Your gift of land helps
to create affordable housing in West Virginia

Below is a picture of South ForK Crossing before we ever broke ground. This tract of land was sold to us at fair market value by a local family. It will soon become the home of 12 familes who lack affordable shelter.
